Want to go out for a walk, and explore some of the fabulous country and seaside locally?

We are very fortunate to have some great walks and access locally for those who struggle either pushing or being pushed along or whose scooters require more level ground.

beachwheelchairWest Wittering Beach also has a beach buggy wheelchair for hire with especially enlarged wheels to make beach access easier over difficult sandy and shingly surfaces. They recommend all-terrain wheelchairs for the beach. Contact them directly for more details.

Sidlesham Quay

Chichester Harbour and Pagham Harbour and the new Medmerry Harbour are all fully or partially accessible. At Pagham there is also a childrens play area / nature and wildlife walk to explore. Walk details etc from these websites below. and

Keeping to the watery theme – there is the Chichester Marina too! Mainly tarmac or well compacted shingle around or by the large Marina. Cafes and facilities all nearby, plus parking.

Chichester City Tree Trail is fascinating, partly because you get to see parts of the City in much more detail, including the varied architectural styles!

Chichester Canal walk is beautiful, or you could opt to travel by water onboard the Richmond to Hunston and back.
